The HSE Vysokovsky Graduate School of Urbanism together with the French association D’est are organizing a joint summer school this year in France. The School will run from June 25 – July 8, 2017 in Paris and Montpellier and aims to attract students and young professionals in urban development and planning, municipal administration, and civil initiatives.

On June 9, the head of the Urban Planning master’s programme at Paris’ Sciences Po, Morgan Poulizac, gave the lecture ‘Social Innovations as an Urban Development Tool: Examples of French Cities’ as part of the Adaptive City seminar series organised by the Graduate School of Urban Studies and Planning.
On April 18, 2014 the well-known New York city activist Daniel Latorre delivered a lecture at the HSE Graduate School of Urban Studies. Latorre spoke about ‘Digital Placemaking & Moving to Place-based Governance’.
